The Waiver Wire - FantasyMania Championship

FantasyMania Championship 2017.
Dallas.

Jennifer Hudson
Oh Say Can You See.....

President Trump
To Tom Brady:
The Star in Dallas.
He possesses a Fantasy Stone.
Bring me him to me.

Ezekiel Elliott warming up before the game.

President Trump initiates the explosion.

San Francisco 2018.

Ezekiel Elliott walks into Kenneth Bell's paper store.

Ezekiel Eliott
Shit went good.
But the--

Kenneth Bell
Hold on. Hold on.

Kenneth Bell turns up the volume on his radio.

Kenneth Bell
Alright, now. Talk.

Ezekiel Eliott
Like I said, shit went good.
But there was this bitch sitting in the back seat.
Surprised the shit out of us.
Didn't even see her until the shit popped off.
If it was up to me, I'd let her walk.
She didn't look like the talking type.
But shit happened so far, we let a couple of shots go.
Before we know it, both of them dead.

Kenneth Bell
....
Well shorty was a cop...

Kenneth Bell
.... And she ain't dead.

Ezekiel Eliott
She wasn't no cop man.

Kenneth Bell
Where did you put the guns?
Listen, this shit gonna get real heavy, you understand me?
We gotta fall back.
We gonna see how they play it.
But if this cop wake up, and she starts talking shit.
You gotta go sky up.
We gotta be careful
And if shit go left, you know what to do.
You gotta eat all that shit.
We'll take care of you, but they gonna do everything in they power to find the shooters.
So you know?

Ezekiel Eliott
Yeah...

"The difference is inches." - The Baugh

Michael Cole
Welcome to Wednesday Night Preview!
It is Week 16 here in the West Coast Cousins which could only mean one thing.
We are in the Championship Round of the season.
We are down to two.

[1] Vic Ambrose (9-4)

[4] The Baugh (7-6)

Michael Cole
On paper, these two Superstars are evenly matched with The Baugh holding a slight lead in early projections.
But it is truly anyone's game as the odds on favorite all season long, Vic Ambrose, looks to capitalize on an amazing season.

King
Michael, I truly cannot wait for this Sunday,
These two Superstars have competed on the Finals stage before, each coming just short in their respective Championship appearances.
The Baugh as played in the Championship game twice, falling 0-2.
Vic Ambrose lost to Stone Cold Steve Pupstin in 2014.

Michael Cole
But in just four short nights, one of these two Superstars will achieve the crown jewel of achievements in Fantasy Sports.
The WCC League Championship.
Last night, The Baugh broke the Circle of Champions by defeating SC Lesnar.
In the history of the league, only Tai, Joyce, Rockson and Ken have won the title.
And come Sunday, they will welcome a new member into the Circle of Champions.
It is no secret that this is a monumental moment in both of their careers.
The question now King is,
which Superstar needs this win more badly?

King
Well on one hand, The Baugh has been in the league longer.
He's been on this stage twice and he truly needs this win to solidify his career in the WCC.
Falling 0-3 in the Championship game would label him as a choker.
On the other end, Vic Ambrose has had the best regular season of any Fantasy Manager in the league.
He's been #1 for most of the season.
Falling short in the Finals would be a huge disappointment after such a strong season.
It's hard to call, Michael.
It's a big game for both of them.

Michael Cole
We go live now to Renee Young who is standing by Vic Ambrose.
One final interview before the biggest game of his life.

Renee Young
Vic, congratulations on making it to the Championship game.
An impressive game last night, winning by the skin of your teeth, defeating The Hiz by 0.40 points.
It'll go down as a classic match in league history.
But on Sunday, a bigger challenge arises in The Baugh.
The two of you are not too familiar with one another,
what game plan do you have ahead of Sunday's Championship game?

Vic Ambrose
Well Renee, it's really quite simple.
It doesn't matter who stands in front of me, what they try to do.
What lineups they try and change.
The fact of the matter is, I have proven that I am the best Fantasy Manager this season.
Coming into Monday night, everyone had The Hiz penciled in as the winner.
Rumors have it, storylines had to be rewritten to correspondence to the late changes.
But here I am, Renee.
Standing before you, just one win away from becoming League Champion.
The Baugh and I both have experience on this stage,
so there is no doubt in my mind, he's going to bring his A game.
But the difference is, I want it more than he does.
My Fantasy Managers are more equipped to win it all.
I've learned from my past losses and I'm ready to avenge my loss in 2014.
I am ready to become Champion and the face of this league.
Believe... that.

Victor Oumar
Y'all ready?
One last job.
One more win and then we disappear forever.

Renee Young
Ladies and gentlemen...
The Baugh!

*Crowd Cheers*

Renee Young
Baugh, Sunday night will be your 3rd FantasyMania Championship appearance.
Having fallen short twice before,
what adjustments have you made to make sure your 3rd trip will be successful?

The Baugh
Let The Baugh make one thing perfectly clear.
The Baugh doesn't need reminding what's at stake on Sunday.
The Baugh doesn't need to be told what this matchup means.
Because The Baugh knows exactly what's on the line.
This Sunday, legacy is on the line.
The West Coast Cousins Hall of Fame is on the line.
Should The Baugh fall short on Sunday, he could go down as an after thought.
Winning this game is the difference between being somebody and being a nobody.
Being a winner or being a loser.

The Baugh
Now The Baugh says this, my Fantasy Team?
We're tired of being losers.
The Mustangs are winners.
When you put on one of my jersey's, you're accepting The Mustang Challenge.
I told my Fantasy Team last season that they are winners.
And here we are, one game away from glory.
The Baugh knows damn well how close one of these matchups can be.
Vic Ambrose won by 0.40 points on Sunday.
Well The Baugh lost by 0.04 points in the Championship Game in 2011.
That's one start/sit decision.
That's one transaction.
One waiver wire pickup.
One move away from becoming Champion, that's all it takes.
The difference is inches.
The Mean Machine last season was one kicker away from becoming Champion.
But the history books don't write down what mistake was made.
The only thing that gets remembered is the winner.
So you want to know what The Baugh has learned over the years?
What adjustments he's made?
The Baugh has learned to give every inch, blood, sweat and tears.
Dedicate yourself, push yourself in the Iron Paradise.
And be the very best that you can be.
The Baugh has one last thing left to fulfill in this league.
Become League Champion, protect the Fantasy Stone
and cement my place in the league.

The Baugh
That's.... what The Baugh has learned.
IF YA SMEEEEEEEEELL...
WHAT THE BAUGH...
IS....
COOKIN'.

Outside of Ezekiel Elliott's home, the SCGD stake out.

Det. Tai, Det. Minh and Lt. Kevin are all out the make the arrest.

Ju Ju Smith-Schuster walks by and smashes Ezekiel's window.

Ezekiel Elliott runs out to check out what's happening, but is tackled by the SCGD unit.

Ezekiel Elliott
Oh hell no.
Why y'all gotta fuck with my ride though?

Ezekiel Elliott is arrested.
