West Coast Cousins Fantasy Football: WCC Week 1 Recap "SummerSlam"

[Cole]

Good evening ladies and gentlemen and welcome to Week 1 in the WCC!

We are live in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as we get ready to kick off the 2013 Season!

I'm Michael Cole, alongside Jerry "The King" Lawler.

And this is WCC SummerSlam!

[King]

What a Week One we have in store, Michael. This sold out crowd in Philadelphia is rocking!

[Cole]

Which match are you looking forward to most King?

[King]

Well there's a lot of interesting matches tonight,

but I'm really looking forward to the return of CM PUP!

[Cole]

CM PUP is the number one in power rankings according to Yahoo Sports and you have to wonder if he'll pick up where he left off last season when he won 11 straight weeks.

And you can't forget about the debut of Dolph Riggler.

This kid has a lot of potential and will look to make an impact in his first WCC match.

[Cole]

And this is a grudge match, as we learned last week on Preview that it was Team Howardo aka The Hiz that attacked What's Your Deal? last season.

You may remember Team Howardo as Go Ninja, but now he is repackaged as The Hiz!

What a match this is gonna be, you know The Game will look to reestablish himself as a top name here in the WCC.

[King]

What about our main event, Michael?

You know this will be explosive!

[Cole]

Oh King, I cannot wait for that one.

The 2012 WCC Champion makes her first title defense when she faces off against Seadderall Seahawks!

Santa Clara Gold Diggers made an improbable run to the top last season as she defeated Seadderall Seahawks, CM PUP and Carroll's Crooked Nose in consecutive weeks to become the WCC Champion.

She was the underdog in all three matchups, but somehow came out on top. She may be known as the San Francisco Killer, as she took out each Superstar from the San Francisco Division of the WCC.

And here we go King, the first match of the 2013 Season!

Lufa makes her way down to the ring.

The Crock poses in front of the sold out crowd in Lincoln Financial Field.

Lufa watches as the WCC Welterweight Champion, Carroll's Crooked Nose hypes up the crowd.

Lufa enters the ring and this match is underway.

Immediately, The Crock goes for The Crock bottom and hits it!

He pins... 1... 2...3! And this one is over!

Carroll's Crooked Nose improves to 1-0 and leaps into first place as Lufa falls to 0-1.

What a shocking loss for Lufa, as she loses in 18 seconds! What a way to kick off the 2013 Season!

Chuckanut Interview

[Striker]

Joining me at this time... Chuckanut

[Striker]

Chuck, the last time we saw you here in West Coast Cousins, you had your head taken off by CM PUP. You sustain a serious injury and if you take a look at this clip right here, you can see just how devastating that knee to the face was.

[Striker]

How has the rehabilitation been? And where are you mentally and physically?

[Chuckanut]

You know Matt, it was a tough offseason for me. This injury was perhaps the most devastating injury of my fantasy football career, but after months of grueling rehabilitation, I am back and better than ever. I have to thank Dr. James Andrews for reattaching my head to my neck and allowing me to return for the start of the 2013 Season.

[Striker]

Are you at all worried about re-injuring your head? We've seen it time and time again, athletes who are rushed back too soon. Another big blow to the head could end your career. It may be wise to sit out the season like Derrick Rose.

[Chuckanut]

That's not an option. I'm out to prove to everyone that I am still at the top of my game. I am a main event caliber Fantasy Football player. I will work my way back to the top here in the WCC and it starts tonight when I face Nyback.

Santa Clara Gold Diggers interrupts the interview.

[SCGD]

You're going to have to excuse me. But why are we wasting camera time on mid-carders like Chuckanut?

I'm the new face of the WCC and you should be interviewing me.

[SCGD]

No one cares about your injury Chuckanut.

They all came to see me. The 2012 League Champion.

[Chuckanut]

It sounds like that Championship has gotten to your head, SCGD.

It's not about getting to the top, it's about staying on top. And right now Gold Diggers, you have a huge target on your head. Seattle, San Francisco, it doesn't matter, we're all coming after you.

[Cole]

And SummerSlam continues on as we get set for this next bout between Team Howardo and What's Your Deal?

The Hiz makes his way down to the ring.

[King]

We learned last week on Preview that it was The Hiz that was behind the sneak attacks on Evolution last season and you know The Game is focused tonight as he aims to make his way back to the top here in the WCC.

The bell rings and we are underway.

What's Your Deal starts off strong and dominates Howardo early.

He hits the Family Tree and get the three count to win!

Chuckanut vs. In Manning We Trust

[Cole]

After a disappointing 2012 season that ended in injury for Chuckanut, we'll see how he has recovered from such a devastating blow to the head. Will we see the Chuckanut of old, as he faces WCC Rookie, Nyback!

[King]

Oh man... this kid is impressive.

Dominating the development ranks for years, Nyback has arrived here in the WCC

! I can't wait to watch him play Fantasy Football.

Nyback and Chuckanut face off

Suddenly, What's Your Deal?'s music plays.

[King]

Cole, it's Single H! The Chief Operating Officer of the WCC! He just had a match.

What is he doing out here?

[Single H]

Before we get this match started... I would like to add a new stipulation to the match.

In the interest of fairness, and what is best for business, there will be a special guest referee in this match. This match is important for the future of this business, so I think it can only be officiated by someone who is trustworthy. And I can't think of anybody that I trust more... than me! So I will be officiating this match. Ring the bell.

[Cole]

Okay, King. So it's a bit of a curve ball to start the match, but both Superstars look ready.

The bell rings and we are underway!

[Cole]

Wait a minute!

From out of no where! The Champion, Santa Clara Gold Diggers with the VICIOUS dropkick to the skull of Chuckanut! He may have reinjured his head with a shot like that!

SCGD yells at the fallen Chuckanut.

[SCGD]

I'M THE WCC CHAMPION!

Single H looks on, unfazed by the sneak attack from SCGD.

[Cole]

Oh come on! That's gotta be a disqualification. Single H, do something!

Nyback is confused. He doesn't know what to think of it.

[Cole]

Oh no... Oh no...

Sandy, don't do it. Chuckanut is coming off a major head injury!

[Cole]

OH NO! LOOKOUT!

Santa Clara Gold Diggers just knocked Chuckanut's head off!

She's gone too far...

SCGD poses with her Championship belt as the fans boo.

[Cole]

This is sick.

What's Your Deal orders Nyback to pin Chuckanut.

Reluctantly, Nyback pins Chuckanut for the victory.

In Manning We Trust 1-0 wins his first game in the WCC, dropping Chuckanut to 0-1.

WCC medical staff enter the ring to try and attach Chuckanut's head back to his neck as Single H and SCGD celebrate their ploy to end Chuckanut's career.

[Cole]

This is sickening! SCGD may have just ended Chuckanut's Fantasy Football career! And why did What's Your Deal just let it happen? What is going on, King?

[King]

I don't know... but it seems like SCGD and What's Your Deal are working together. This is real bad, Michael.

Singles Match

Percy PUP Harvin vs. Rock's Rad Team

[Cole]

And here we go King, it's the WCC debut of Dolph Riggler.

[King]

Oh man.. I've been waiting to see this kid play Fantasy Football all night.

He's certainly gonna put on a show for us tonight. But he's got his hands full with the Best in the League... CM PUP.

[Cole]

And here is CM PUP.

He's going to look to get back on track after a disappointing end to the 2012 season.

Let's see if he can get his first win.

CM PUP hits the GTS on Riggler! This could be it! 1... 2...

Out of no where, John Laurinaitis pulls the referee out of the ring!

[King]

Oh, what the heck is going on! Laurinaitis just screwed PUP!

PUP yells at Lauriniatis but quickly returns his attention to Riggler and goes for another GTS.

Rock's Rad Team counters the GTS and WHAT A MANUEVER! He pins 1... 2... 3!

Rock's Rad Team is now 1-0 after defeating Percy PUP Harvin 0-1.

Riggler wins! Laurinaitis just screwed PUP!

Chuckanut Medical Update

[Cole]

Folks, we interrupt tonight's show to give the fans at home a serious medical update on Chuckanut.

Earlier tonight, WCC Champion punt kicked Chuckanut to the skull and took his head off.

Chuckanut was taken to a nearby hospital where he was rushed to the emergency room, but unfortunately, doctors were unable to reattach his head to his body.

[Cole]

We would like to let the WCC audience at home know that this is not part of our entertainment tonight and this is a real life situation. Medics were unable to revive Chuckanut and he has been pronounced dead.

[Striker]

I'm here with WCC Champion, Santa Clara Gold Diggers.

We just heard from Michael Cole at ringside, Chuckanut has been pronounced dead due to a kick to the skull because of you, Sandy. Do you care to explain your reasoning?

[SCGD]

I don't have to explain myself to anyone, Matt.

I did what I did because I had to.
It was about sending a message to the entire WCC locker room. Chuckanut disrespected me earlier tonight and I showed him why I am the WCC Champion. Why I am the face of the WCC. Now everyone knows to fear me when it comes to Fantasy Football.

[Striker]

But do you feel bad at all? You did just murder him on live television.

[SCGD]

Not at all.

In fact, I'm glad he's dead. One less opponent to worry about.

Let me tell you something, Matt. In order to get to the top in this business, you have to have ruthless aggression. I showed it last season when RGIII was my fantasy quarterback and led me to a Championship. But as soon my Seahawks saw him in the Playoffs, I was glad that we injured him. That we hurt him. Whatever it takes to win.

And tonight, I'm going to do the same thing to John Seana.
